Sam and Ricky grew up together in Cincinnati, OH. Since they were five, they’d see each other each Sunday at Isaac M. Wise Temple and spent nearly all summers together at Camp Wildbrook, Camp Thunderbird, or as counselors at the JCC’s day camp.

Their love initially sparked during 10th-grade confirmation classes, after which they dated for a whopping two weeks. It was, as Sam’s dad likes to say, "right person, wrong time."

Fast forward eight years: twenty-five-year-old Sam was visiting home and heard that Ricky wasn’t seeing anybody. She texted him to meet up, and they drank cocktails at Mount Lookout Tavern. And this time, the relationship stuck!

Now, Sam, Ricky, and Stevie (their cat) live happily together in Denver, CO where they love hiking, sushi-making, and Sunday night yoga. They are so excited to celebrate with you all in Cincinnati, OH - a city that means so much to them and their families!
