How We met!
Adam and I met October 26, 2019. It all began through knowing the Hoppe family, specifically Ally. Ally is one of my closest friends. The Thomason and Hoppe family have been great friends for years! The summer of 2019 I went down to the lake with the Hoppe's and met the Thomason family. Adam was not at the lake, he was in Florida earning his private pilot license. I heard many stories of Adam and saw a picture of him from middle school. I thought to myself, "He has a lot of potential". Then school started in August and I finally saw an updated picture of Adam, I thought "He is really cute!" After asking Ally multiple times for his snapchat, she finally sent it to me. I was nervous but, she assured me he was a great guy. Adam and I exchanged numbers then planned a date. We were originally supposed to go hiking but it was raining so we went bowling instead. We hit it off right away. I was too nervous to eat the whole night. After bowling we went back to my house and watched The Office for a while and ended up having a surprise visit by my friends Ally, Ashliegh, and Haley! It makes for a great story now, but it definitely surprised me to see them on our first date. After a couple weeks of dating he asked me to be his girlfriend on November 2, 2019 and the rest is history. We are so excited to start our lives together!
A Little About The Bride and Groom!
Q: How did Adam propose?
A: Adam proposed on November 11th, 2022 when we were celebrating our three year anniversary! He proposed on the Union Station Ferris Wheel during sunset and it was so romantic!
Q: What is your favorite activity to do together?
A: When the weather is warm anything outside! When its cold staying inside and looking on Facebook Marketplace and watching movies!
Q: What is your favorite place to eat?
A: Somehow we always find ourselves in the Chick-Fil-A drive thru. And when Adam does not want Chick-Fil-A, he gets Imo's Pizza (I still make him go through Chick-Fil-A for me lol!)
Q: How did you know Adam was the one?
A: I knew Adam was the one when I found out we both hated each others favorite chips! Let's just say we both do not like to share our chips, we will share everything but those! There are many reasons I knew Adam was the one. One of them was Adam never fails to make me laugh. He has the best sense of humor and is such light to be around. When we met, I knew God placed him in my life for a reason and I cannot wait to spend forever with my best friend.
Q: How did you know Samantha was the one?
A: I knew Samantha was the one when I realized she had the same sense of humor as me. She was cracking up at the same type of jokes I was. She also loved pizza, but not as much as me.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: This is a hard question especially since Adam and I love to watch movies. As a couple our favorite movie is the Up movie!
Q: Do you have a favorite bible verse as a couple?
A: Yes! Adam and I love 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. It explains what love is and we sure try our best to love each other like the verse.
Q: What are you looking forward to when you are married?
A: We are both so excited to start our lives together! We cannot wait to live the married life. There are so many things we are looking forward to, but we are cannot wait to make more memories together. We are looking forward to all the big and small adventures that is in store for our future. We definitely want to travel more as a couple when we are married!
