Wedding Party

Beau Bradley
Beau Bradley - Officiant and Bridesmate
Beau and Sami met over 12 years ago when they both joined a community service club at Penn State. At one point, their dorms were right across the hall from one another. The two only got closer in 2017 when Beau and their partner Zane got married and Sami got to attend their bach trip, and even closer during Covid when the two would FaceTime constantly. Sami visited Beau and Zane in Seattle and they visited her (and eventually Brad) in Denver. Beau, Zane, Brad and Sami have traveled to Europe, the UK and throughout the U.S. together. Last year, Sami helped the two move to Haines, Alaska, which was an amazing adventure for all three of them! Beau is Sami’s bridesmate and is officiating the wedding.
Nicholas D'Andrea
Nicholas D'Andrea - Best Man
Nick and Brad met over 11 years ago in Calculus 2 at NC State, and became fast friends. They ended up becoming roommates, commiserating over engineering school together, and going on amazing adventures together. Most recently, Brad and Nick cheered on NC State at the final four in Phoenix, and went on a train journey across the country from Chicago to San Francisco. Brad is excited to have Nick as one of his best men at his wedding.
Andrew Quine
Andrew Quine - Best Man
Andrew and Brad met on the very first day of college, as they shared a suite between 4 other people. Over that year, they had too many antics to count. For one, Andrew became known as the inventor of the shower caddy drink holder when going to cookout in a blizzard. They continued as roommates through college and can start a conversation at any time to complain about the Carolina panthers. Brad could not be more thrilled to have Andrew as a best man as well.
Forrest Bengtson
Forrest Bengtson - Groomsman
Forrest is one of Brad’s oldest friends, knowing each other since middle school and becoming great friends through high school band. They spent quite a bit of their high school days together playing chess and StarCraft 2 as a way to avoid studying for tests. Despite Forrest living in Atlanta, Brad and Forrest have been able to stay in touch through online gaming, especially during the hard times in Covid. Brad could not imagine having his wedding without Forrest as a groomsman.
David Marsh
David Marsh - Groomsman
David and Brad have shared many aspects of life together. This includes: sitting together as high school trumpet players, studying French together, going to NC State and graduating from Electrical Engineering together. If you love Survivor and the NBA, Brad and David are the people to talk to. Brad looks forward to David standing next to him on his big day.
Emily Lorton
Emily Lorton - Groomswoman
Brad was lucky to meet Emily during Covid when mutual friends came to town to escape the Seattle wildfires. Emily and Brad have gone all over Colorado together and are always looking for the most fun experiences, most notably Emo Nites and Frozen Dead Guy days.Brad cannot wait for Emily to stand as a groomswoman at his wedding.
Molly Steck
Molly Steck - Groomswoman
Brad and Molly also met during Covid through sheer luck of mutual friends coming to town. They quickly became friends, and eventually could always be counted on to rock climb together, explore the mountains of Colorado, or play Settlers of Catan on a cold weekday night. She is an integral part of Brad’s life in Colorado, and he is excited to have her as another groomswoman at his wedding.
Andrew Campbell
Andrew Campbell - Groomsman
Andrew is newer to Denver, having moved to Denver to live with his long term girlfriend (bridesmaid Madi). Before moving, he visited often and Brad knew right away they’d be good friends. They can always be seen discussing the newest trends in tech, the NFL, and utilizing Andrew’s Cinemark membership. He’s become a good friend of Brad’s in a short time, so he is honored to have him as a groomsman.
Asya Biddle
Asya Biddle - Matron of Honor
Asya is the oldest of the Allen sisters and Sami’s matron of honor. For 14 years, Asya was a mentor and support system for Sami, attending every chorus concert and play that Sami was in. Then, when Asya’s son Alex was born, Sami got the exciting opportunity to play a supporting role for her big sister and new nephew. Asya is not just a sister but a best friend and confidante. When Asya got married in 2016, Sami got to serve as a maid of honor. Asya helped move Sami a handful of times—out of college apartments, into her first New York apartment and out to Denver in late 2020 and set up Sami’s first solo apartment in basically three days.
Chelsea Schroder
Chelsea Schroder - Matron of Honor
As Sami’s older sister and matron of honor, Chelsea wasn’t the most thrilled when she met Sami 32 years ago, but since leaving toddlerhood has been a best friend to Sami. They have traveled internationally together multiple times, with each time being more fun than the last. Having been there through it all and both growing through the good, bad and the ugly, Sami and Chelsea are closer than ever. Sami was a maid of honor for the first time ever in Chelsea’s wedding in 2015.
Vienna Schroder
Vienna Schroder - Junior Bridesmaid
Vienna is Sami’s niece and junior bridesmaid. At just 10 years old, Vienna is already an artist, singer and fashion icon. Sami met Vienna for the first time in December 2014 at the Bozeman, MT airport. (Vienna was sleeping, but Sami was thrilled enough for the both of them.) Ever since, Vienna has been a bright spot in her aunt’s life—whenever Sami is home, they make cookies or create art.
Megan Cowher
Megan Cowher - Bridesmaid
Megan and Sami have known each other since they were 10 years old. Fast friends as middle schoolers, Megan and Sami only got closer once they graduated high school and college. Six months after Sami moved to Park Slope, Brooklyn, Megan found a warehouse apartment a few subway lines over in Bushwick. As young 20-somethings, they spent weekends walking the Brooklyn Bridge, thrifting, going on restaurant reviews, attending concerts or festivals, going to Broadway shows for free (thanks to Megan’s theater job) and spending an hour on the train each way just to hang out at each other’s place. Megan always made time for Brooklyn despite the long commute times. They visited each other countless times in Denver and Albuquerque as well as enjoyed many hometown dinners and cookie baking sessions.
Stephanie Simons
Stephanie Simons - Bridesmaid
Steph and Sami met on the first day of college, being only five dorm rooms away from each other on third floor Mifflin. As soon as a month later, Sami was attending Steph’s 19th birthday party at The Corner Room and regularly tagging along at Steph’s family tailgates. Steph was the first person to convince Sami to get on an upside down rollercoaster, and has this ability to get people to open up and have fun in ways they ordinarily wouldn’t. Steph visited Sami throughout her time in New York, and Sami would hop on a bus or train to NJ to spend what Sami called “mom and dad weekends” with Steph and her husband Will. Sami was a bridesmaid in Steph’s wedding a few years ago.
Kaitlyn Ford
Kaitlyn Ford - Bridesmaid
Kait and Sami met in 2016 at a job they both thought was insane. As editors, they sat back to back publishing stories, love letters or even hate letters written by college students who had something to SAY. They were laid off together and found new jobs at different companies, but their friendship grew stronger. Sami would take Kait to the occasional restaurant review, and Kait would take Sami to a cool media event where they scored free stuff and dinner. Kait was with Sami the day she packed up her car and left New York. They have seen each other through highs and lows—breakups, job woes, friend or family crises, as well as promotions, engagements and birthday milestones, and Sami had the opportunity to be Kait’s bridesmaid last year.
Bridget Covucci
Bridget Covucci  - Bridesmaid
Sami met Bridget in 2018 after the hardest barre workout Sami had ever done. Barely able to pick herself up off the carpet, Sami was introduced to Bridget and they quickly not only became barre buddies but close friends. Sami would visit Bridget and her then-roommate Sara in their cute Cobble Hill apartment, or do dinner or happy hour in the area. When Covid hit, Bridget was close enough to meet up for distanced park hangs and Sami got to watch Bridget fall in love with her now-husband David. Bridget was also there the day Sami left NYC, and she and Kait organized Sami’s packed-to-the-eyeballs car, hugged a sobbing Sami and waved her off, which Sami will always remember and be so grateful for. Sami was a bridesmaid in Bridget’s wedding last year.
Annie LaHood
Annie LaHood - Bridesmaid
Annie is Sami’s cousin and bridesmaid. Annie and Sami actually met later in life—summer of 2019. Having grown up in IL, Annie moved to NYC for her first job. From literally day 1, Sami has loved Annie like a younger sister and sort of adopted her as such right away. In Annie’s first week alone, they took the Staten Island Ferry, watched fireworks from a rooftop, went to Rockaway beach and went to Smorgasburg in Prospect Park. Annie has visited Sami several times in Denver and when Annie moved to Chicago earlier in 2024, Sami flew out to see her and her two kitties.
Madison Minner
Madison Minner - Bridesmaid
Having both moved to Denver in late 2020, Sami and Madi were each other’s first friend in their new home. Just a few weeks after meeting, Sami invited Madi over for Thanksgiving dinner. They would go thrifting and estate-saling to fill up their new apartments, check out new restaurants, have fun nights out and cozy nights in. When Madi met her boyfriend Andrew (who is also in the wedding party), he and Brad became just as fast friends. Now, the four have spent weekends in the mountains, in New York for Sami’s 30th birthday and in Denver hosting each other and exploring new spots in town. Madi helped Sami feel at home in Denver in the 4+ years they've known each other.
