Our Wedding

Ajit and Samantha met in geometry class in their freshman year of high school. Over the next 3 years, the two had multiple classes together and became friends. Eventually, Ajit asked Sam out to the movies at the beginning of their senior year (yes, Sohab third-wheeled). They had an amazing time a few weeks later at Darien Fest, even though Ajit tried to freak Sam out on the Ring of Fire ride the whole time. With the help of some friends, Ajit finally mustered up the courage to ask Sam to the homecoming dance. Sam was running outside during cross-country practice when she reached Darien Community Park and saw a group of her friends and sister holding up signs reading “HC?” Ajit was standing there with peachy/orange roses, her favorite color, and asked her to go to the homecoming dance with him. She wholeheartedly said yes! The two danced the night away in their high school field house, and a few weeks later on 11/6/2010, Ajit asked Sam to be his girlfriend. Despite getting into different colleges, Ajit and Sam wanted to try and make a long-distance relationship work. The next several years were filled with trips back and forth from Chicago to Champaign, new friends, and many memories. Ajit and Sam overcame many obstacles together and grew as individuals and as a couple, falling deeper in love each day. Last year in March, Ajit asked Sam the long-awaited question, and Sam of course said yes without a doubt in her mind. After another year of long distance and hours of wedding planning, Ajit and Sam are excited to finally tie the knot in front of all their family and friends on 6/11/2022.&nbsp; Our story is 11.5 years in the making, but it’s only the beginning. We are so excited to have you all be a part of it!

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago for the nights of 6/10/22 and 6/11/22. Parking

Parking for St. Stanislaus Kostka Church Parking is available on the south side of the church. Enter through the small lot in front of the school; there is an additional lot that can be accessed from here. There is also free street parking along Noble St.

Parking for Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Free valet parking &amp; garage parking is available. For valet parking, drive up to the entrance of the hotel on N Columbus Dr., just before E South Water St.&nbsp;If self-parking, please bring your ticket to the front desk and mention our wedding to validate the ticket.

The venue will be adhering to the COVID-19 regulations of the city of Chicago and are subject to change. Masks are not currently required but are encouraged. We encourage you to be considerate of other guests and to please not attend if you feel ill or have cold-like symptoms.
