Our Wedding

Like most modern love stories ours began…through the phone. Sam met Kelly through her cousin in 2013 when they were both in middle school. What started as silly middle school banter turned into something more in 2016 when Sam and Kelly decided to make it official. There was just one small problem, they were 4 hours apart & neither of them had their drivers license, so their young love came with a monthly train ticket in the beginning. They were two teenagers in love, traveling hours by train to see eachother. Romantic? Absolutely. Expensive? Definitely. Worth it? Every single time. After Sam graduated highschool in 2018 she packed her bags & moved to Western New York to be closer to Kelly. In 2021 they took on their biggest project yet, when they bought Sam’s grandparents house. With paint on their clothes, dust in their hair and a whole lot of determination they poured their hearts (and sweat) into bringing the house back to life and turning it into their home. And of course no love story is complete without a four legged friend (or in their case a couple). Their first pet together sweet Sadie moved in with them in 2021 and brought them so much love as they started their journey as homeowners, shortly after their gentle giant Diesel joined their life as a 7 week old puppy and he also filled their lives with lots of love & responsibility. After Sadie joined Sam’s grandparents in heaven, they welcome their wild child Maple into their family in 2024. In 2025 maple and diesel had a litter of puppies which was one of Sam & Kelly’s wildest adventures yet. They spent 8 weeks working as a team raising 7 healthy puppies and finding their forever homes. Outside of their home, you’ll usually find them outdoors, whether hunting, fishing or just soaking up the fresh air. More than anything they’re each others best friend, making each other laugh and smile & feel at home no matter where they are. They’ve grown up together from middle schoolers in love to adults ready to start their lives together. After 8 years of love, adventure & a whole lot of puppy love, Kelly popped the question in December of 2024. Now they can’t wait to celebrate with you in September of 2026 when they finally say “I do” They can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!
