What is the dress code?
Cocktail Attire.
What does that mean?
Cocktail wedding attire is slightly less formal than black-tie and black-tie optional, tuxes and floor-length gowns are not required. (However, you can always opt for longer skirts or formal jackets if you'd like, which are popular choices for autumn wedding attire.) When it comes to deciding what to wear to a cocktail wedding, a suit and tie with a crisp black or white shirt and dress pants is a no-fail choice. You can also wear a short formal dress or an elegant jumpsuit with jewelry.
I'm from out of state, how do I get to Long Island by Driving?
If you're driving in from the CT/Upstate NY side:
If you want to cut out the driving-through-the-city-traffic, I highly recommend taking the ferry over. It's an hour and fifteen minute boat ride, there's food and drinks, and our hotel is within walking distance of where it unloads
You can drive your car on, or alternatively, park on the Bridgeport side, and walk on. Parking garage information is as follows:
Bridgeport
700 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06604
Daily M-F $6.00 / monthly permit $67/or $45 with Metro-
North monthly pass (Parking garage closed on weekends)

I'm from out of state, How do I get to Long Island by Train
We're the end of the line!
Take the LIRR's Port Jefferson line all the way to the end and then the train station should be about a 5 minute drive to the hotel where we have the block/after party.
Alternatively, if you are traveling to just the wedding venue, take the same Port Jefferson line to the St James stop, and that should be about a 4 minute drive to the wedding venue.

Flying in:
The three options to fly into are JFK, LaGuardia Airport, or Long Island MacArthur Airport. MacArthur is the closest, however that will also have the most limited flight options.
If you are flying in from JFK, or LGA we suggest you rent a car as well, as it will be less than an Uber/Lyft to get around
