Nathan and Samantha met in 2018 at Mayfair mall.

Nate works weekends as a fragrance vendor for multiple companies, and while out shopping with her aunt and mom, he caught her eye. He gave her a sample of Carolina Herrera: Good Girl and they made conversation about both attending the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Before leaving the mall, Nate asked for Samantha's Facebook, and messaged her asking to get coffee sometime soon.

Though Samantha doesn't drink coffee, they met up just a few days later for a late night drive, where Nate got pulled over (which would become a common occurrence on their dates). They continued to date through the rest of college, and both graduated with honors in the start of the pandemic.

Four years into dating, while on a trip together in Florida for a friend's wedding, Nate took Samantha and their friends on a sunset beach walk, and in a rainstorm, got down on one knee and popped the question.

They have purchased a home together in Pewaukee - while continuing to rent out Nate's old home - with their two rescue cats, Duker and Demon.
