In April 2019, our fates collided when we both decided to take a beach trip to Destin, Fl on the exact same dates. I was going for my senior spring break, and he was on a beach trip with his friends. We met at the beach and immediately hit it off.

It was definitely fate, we both arrived on the same day and only spent 3 days together. Even when first meeting, were we inseparable.

While still on our trip, we soon realized that we both live in Georgia, and even better, I was to be moving 17 minutes away from him for college within 3 short months of meeting each other.

Austin asked if we wanted to see each other again outside of the vacation, and we exchanged numbers.

The rest is literally history, after that vacation we made a point to visit each other every free day we had while I was still in school and about to graduate, even living an hour away from each other.

We dated for a few months, and eventually made it official right before I moved just 17 minutes away from where he was living.

Now, 5 years later we have our home, our wonderful puppy Millie, and a beautiful life together and will finally tye the knot this fall! I'm so glad I decided to go to Destin, Fl that summer.
