It all started when Sam & Luke locked eyes with each other the night of her sisters wedding. Sam told her girlfriends early on that night that she was going to ask Luke to dance before the night would end. With some hype from her girlfriends, Sam took the leap and got Luke on the dance floor. The time quickly came to an end and Sam was back to NC just a few days later.

The future of them falling in love was very unlikely. The distance and time apart appeared to be harder than they would ever imagine. With little hopes of being able to live in the same area, they continued to fulfill their careers and lives in NC & IL.

Sam & Luke reconnected the summer of 2024 with hopes of creating a future together. Little did they know, God's plan to put them together in the same state would come sooner than expected. With a lot of love and commitment to each other, Luke flew down to NC and a week later Sam & Luke were in a U-Haul on the way back to IL to start their life together.

On December 1st, Luke & Sam got engaged in the middle of the Christmas tree farm. With Sam's childhood best friends there to help celebrate, the day was one they'll never forget.

Soon they will be celebrating with the people that they love and cherish the most!
