It was spring 2014. To this day, Joe can still tell you what Sam was wearing the first day she walked into Buckle. Sam was graduating from college and had been working multiple jobs to get by. Joe had also been working multiple jobs. As summer time came, Sam left Buckle, but before she did, Joe simply asked her out for a drink. Drinks turned into movies, baseball games, gym workouts... you get the picture. It was not until later that fall, she had finally let him call himself her boyfriend. LOL.

Just like Sam, Joe had a different career in mind from when they first met. He decided to be a lineman, graduated from line school and moved away to Midland, Texas where the population is two trees and gallons and gallons of oil. Definitely not the ideal place to visit. After Texas was Albuquerque, New Mexico. Luckily, just as fast as he moved there, he moved out of there. Two states and four years later, everything began to fall into place for them. Joe was able to get a job back in Sacramento, preventing Sam from ever having to leave California *insert happy face*. Once back in California, Joe wasted no time putting a ring on it!

Little did Sam know she would end up planning her own engagement party. A party she thought was a Welcome Home/Congratulations on the Job/Happy Birthday party for Joe turned into a wonderful, stunning proposal in front of their closest family and friends. Needless to say, the day was perfect in every way.
