Our Wedding

Our story began in 2018, when I was working as a leasing agent at an apartment complex. Zack, along with his dad Dave and his brother, were contractors who handled apartment repairs for the property. Over time, I built a great friendship with Dave—and one day, he casually said, “You should date my son.”I replied, “Which one likes animals?” He said, “Zack.” I said, “Great.”At the time, I didn’t think much of it… until Zack showed up one day with a tiny Golden Mario toy from 711, and was so giddy to show me how amazing it was. It was small enough to slide into a car’s A/C vent, and so later he sent me a picture of it saying, “Look..... he’s chillin’...” which obviously, we fell in love from that moment on and I still have that Golden Mario to this day. Anyway, we started dating on August 23, 2018, and life has been an adventure ever since. We’ve traveled together to New York City, Texas, Key West, North Carolina, Las Vegas, Seattle, Montana, and many more. In 2019, we adopted our sweet (and slightly psychotic) cat, Killua, who’s been part of our lives ever since. Our relationship's core is love, laughter, travels, pure chaotic behavior from the both of us, and overall, each other's company. And even after so many years together, we still are able to find fun and laughter in everything we do together. Anyways (again), from the very beginning, Zack told me he wanted to marry me, but I was determined to finish my college degree first and said we had to wait until after that was completed. So mid-December I earned my degree.... And on Christmas Day, Zack proposed.Now, we're so excited to begin this next chapter—and to celebrate our wedding day surrounded by all the people we love most. We can’t wait to party it up and officially become the newest Nengel's!
