I remember the first day I met Sam. It was her first day working the front desk at Barry's Hollywood. I walked in for my manager shift that morning and saw her at the desk. My first thought was "Oh snap! They hired someone who is not a gay man with 8 pack abs?!" My second thought was "Hold on now... AND she a baddie?!" After a few short weeks of working together I had a hunch that there was mutual attraction in the air. However, because of my extreme fear losing my job and falling into irreversible poverty, and the possibility I could've been misreading her energy, I never asked her out. Instead, I went the HR-appropriate route and just kept asking her "Do you wanna take a Barry's class with me?" One day after taking class at Barry's in West Hollywood, she shot her shot and we shared our first kiss. The rest is history. Over the course of the past 6+ years she has been my life partner, dinner &amp; movie date, and my lil LA Aladdin; showing me all of the coolest spots in the city I've grown to love/kinda be annoyed by so much. In return, I have shown her every hood classic movie, introduced her to professional wrestling, performed "Over My Head" by The Fray countless car rides, and ran every joke I've ever told by her to make sure I don't embarrass us while on stage. She is the love of my life, and I'm so thankful for all of the things that led to our paths crossing. I'm also really hoping someone high up at Barry's Bootcamp reads this and pays for our honeymoon fr fr.

In the fall of 2018, I was very adamant about taking a break from dating and starting on my fitness journey, so I took a job where I knew there would be no straight men to distract me, Barry's Hollywood. Little did I know, when I walked into my first shift, I would be met with the most handsome man I had ever seen. After weeks of me thinking I was getting friend-zoned because he would only ask me to take class and never to hang out outside of work, I took a risk and kissed him. I followed the kiss up by asking "are you ever going to take me on a real date?" Luckily, the feeling was mutual and we've been together ever since. The past six years have been a journey of love, adventure, cuddling, WWE, and listening to exponential amounts of The Fray. I can't wait to spend forever together.

Long Beach airport is about a 20 minute Uber ride from the venue and surrounding hotels.

LAX is about 40-60 minutes away from the venue and surrounding hotels, depending on traffic.

Los Angeles International Airport

For those of you coming from out of town, there are a variety of hotels that are walking distance from the venue. We recommend staying close so you don't have to worry about parking or booking a ride share, but you can always Airbnb if hotels aren't your vibe!

If you do plan on driving, this is the closest parking lot to the venue. It's a $15 flat rate on the weekends.
