Sam & Quentin became fast friends after their fate was written in the stars to meet Halloween 2019, the bar crawl Brian and Sam went on before Brian proposed. Q was on Brian's pub crawl team. Anxious as Brian always is, he disclosed to Q that he was proposing to Sam that night. As the pub crawl died down after Brian participating in shotskis with Q and his Schitt's Creek crew, Q gave Sam a huge bear hug excited for her, saying goodbye and ending with "THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE" Meanwhile Sam had no idea what he was talking about until he was proven right later that night at the Second Fiddle. Q and Sam have become closer and closer friends ever since
