After matching on Bumble & messaging (for almost a month...), our story started with a date to McPherson's Sno Shack. Samantha had officially completed residency the day before & decided a date was a good way to kick off her first day as a McPherson resident! The snow cones were good and the conversation was even better so many more dates followed...

to Botanica at Christmas...

to Kansas City Chiefs games...

to Colorado for ski trips...

and to Chicago (where we walked through the saltwater section of the Shedd Aquarium at least 10 times)!

Our next year together brought more Chiefs victories

- and more time with saltwater creatures (including a surprise swim with a wild manatee!).

And then, after coordinating all of our family and 6 hours of snowman construction, Todd popped the question! And Sam said yes!
