Sam and Sam met on the dating site Hinge, where Samantha was captivated that she found a guy who referred to himself as, “One of the few liberals with a mullet.” After an engaging back and forth conversation in the app, they finally got together in person and bonded over their shared interests. They hit the ground running and started spending more and more time together. It soon became apparent that living apart wasnt going to cut it, so Samantha packed her things and moved into their house/neighborhood they affectionately call Sugarhood. When she moved into the house, there wasnt much, just a man and his dog. She rearranged the house, painted the walls, and turned the house into a loving home.


They have since linked their lives together and spent almost every moment with each other. It’s been an incredible journey for the both of them as they’ve grown as a couple. When you love the person you’re with, every day is special!


Samuel popped the question on a beautiful fall day in Golden, Colorado surrounded by friends and family. After getting the green light from her father, he covertly arranged to get some of their friends and family to Golden for a surprise party. While Samantha may have thought the ring was coming, she was not prepared for the outpouring of love and support from those around her upon her return!


They thought about Utah, thought about Colorado, but eventually landed on getting married in Vegas. They’re both beyond excited to kick off the next phase of their lives and share their love story with everyone!
