(Samantha): Our love story began really way before I actually met Leland. As a little girl (as young as 5 years old), I dreamed of my prince daily. He had to love God, and love me as much as my Step dad loved my mom. That bar was set so high. A couple frogs came and gone along the way. After meeting Leland, there was something different. He had a steadiness about him that drew me in. As the layers of our hearts began to peel back, I started to see that my prayers were being answered (my prince charming I dreamed about was right in front of me).

But, if we are talking about how we actually met; here it is- grab a tissue because it’s something like a Nicholas Sparks novel. We met through a mutual friend, one we all know very well; Mark Zuckerberg. Mark was pretty sneaky when he put Leland right at the top of “people you may know” on my feed. Despite Leland NOT being someone I actually knew, I quickly sent a “friend request” regardless. #hunk From the moment Leland accepted my spontaneous friend request, our love story has truly been a gift from God. God is so so good and sent us each other right at the perfect time, even if it was through Mark Zuckerberg’s website. We are forever grateful.
Because of Gods goodness, and placing God right at the center He has taught us how to cultivate a beautiful, strong love.
