Carlos and I met when I worked at East Boston Savings Bank. He would come in regularly to withdraw $20. After a while I noticed he might be interested in me and made a joke he could withdraw $100 and save himself 4 trips to the bank. More and more he would come in and small talk with me, at one point asking how to open an account where I’d get commission for it. The ladies I worked with would say here he comes Sam. One day I wrote my number on his bank receipt and we started talking, the rest was history.
