It was a brisk winter evening, and the sun had just set. Samantha was anxious to see what she was approaching as she walked into Kanza Hall on a Thursday night. She had no idea she would find her soul mate that night.

Tyler saw her walk in, and was instantly hooked. He turned to his friend Elijah and told him "I'm going to marry that girl". Elijah simply laughed it off... but two years later, here we are. The night went on without much happening, until the fateful moment where Tyler finally asked Sam to dance. Fireworks instantly lit up the dance floor, and it was a true connection from as soon as the first step was taken. They danced the night away and the conversation was flowing. Tyler wanted to ask Sam when he could see her again that night... but God knew it wasn't the right time. There was a 6-month hiatus before Tyler and Sam would meet again. Little did they know, even though the waiting was the hardest part, it would be exactly the right timing.

Tyler and Sam went on their first date on July 10th, 2018. It was the best date either of them had ever been on, and in that moment they both knew this was right. They became official two weeks after that, and have been going strong ever since.

Tyler asked Sam to marry him on July 3rd, 2020. He did it at a very special creek by her childhood home... she said yes to forever. Tyler cried more than her... but that's irrelevant. There was a small engagement reception after that included actual fireworks, food, and family.

We look forward to starting our life together, and we are so thankful all of you have a desire to be a part of it. We certainly would not be where we were if not for the people around us.
