Our Wedding

Sami and I first met when I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. She was working behind the counter, and I was flabbergasted to see how beautiful she was. We had a nice talk, and I was very glad to meet her. We eventually found each other on facebook and started chatting. I was so excited; I remember saying I want her to be my girlfriend. Before you know it, we started hanging out having fun together, eventually I had the privilege of meeting our son Brayden. He was such a young sweetheart, and I fell in love with him very fast, as I did with Sami.

His Story

I was working at the Pharmacy; I didn't work the counter often but when Jacob came in, I jumped up and said, "I got it!", we chatted a little and he left.... Then my coworkers teased me the rest of the day. Later that evening he messaged me on Instagram, we chatted late into the night, and I went to bed with butterflies! From that day on we talked every day and saw each other as much as possible. A few months went by... it was the middle of a snowstorm; Brayden was so sick, but Jacob offered to help me out for the weekend if I wanted to bring him over. I packed my sick 5-year-old up and took him to his house for the first time... I thought for sure this was going to scare him away! lol But I was so wrong, we spent the weekend cooking Brays favorites foods and watching his favorite movies, and he was immediately attached to Jacob. I left that weekend knowing that I had found my person. Since then, we have welcome two more beautiful (wild) boys and shared countless memories. There is nobody I would rather do this crazy life with. The Elrod family has welcomed Bray and I with open arms, and so much love. I am so excited to officially be a part of this family!

We have only been friends for a short time but we hit it off immediately!  The first night we hung out, we decided it was a bright idea to shave my puppy in my tiny bathroom, Haha we knew then we were always meant to find each other. Since then we have spent countless hours laughing, venting, and just navigating parenting and this crazy life!  I’m so thankful to have a friend like Alicia by my side!💜

Brittany has been there through every season of life, since we were born. From childhood birthdays and sleepover, concerts and parties in our teens and early twenties, to babies and weddings as we became adults. Life gets busy but we always pick right up where we left off..  I’m so lucky to have a friend for life like her.

I met Kate in the bleachers, cheering on our boys on the ice rink! Since then we have shared so many memories.  We supported each other through pregnancy, and toddlerhood with our feral babies! While life has gotten busy and our catch up time has become few and farther between, I also know Kate is just a call away. 
I'm so thankful to her by my side through life and on my wedding day!

I first met Julie in Lukas's classroom, I dropped him off for the first time a hot mess.. She quickly calmed my nerves. The friendship we have developed over the years and the love she has for my children is something I will always cherish! I've heard it said that the best friends are the ones that love your babies as much as you do! This is definitely true for us, my kids love "Nene", and its so evident how much she loves them.  Brayden jokes that she is his second mom. Haha  
I am forever grateful that our lukey brought us together, and even more grateful to have such a wonderful friend by my side on my wedding day and in life! 


Julie

The 11 months he spent waiting for me to be born was the longest time we’ve spent apart. When I asked him if would be my Brides "man" he said "Just tell me where you want me and ill be there". Since then, he's been dress shopping, learned about flowers and chiffon, and brunch with the girls. lol He may regret his willingness but hasn't complained a peep.  
 Zack is my closest cousin and one of my best friends since birth! I'm Honored to have him by my side on our big day!

Justin is my best man, he's been a best friend for as long as I can remember.  We grew up together always hanging out and having good times.  He is a great guy and a great father, now a days we hang out together with our families and go camping and have fun all together. I am very grateful for Justin, he has always been there for me, and I'm glad that he will be next to me on this special day!

Andrew is my brother, and a good one at that.  Always there for me when I need him. Wouldn't have it any other way, glad that he will be standing up there with me supporting me.

Brandon is one of my closest friends, unlike everyone else it hasn't been since childhood, yet it feels like I have known you forever.  Brandon is a great help, and a great friend of mine. Glad you are going to be standing up with me supporting me.

Steven is a great friend I have known Steven since elementary school.  We have had so many good times growing up together, he has always been there for me through think n thin.  Very important person in my life, having his support for this wedding is a big help and I appreciate him for always being there for me.

Brayden my 13 year old son, I love you my man, you are a great son, even if your a pain in the butt sometimes.  Couldn't ask for a better help around the house and taking care of the little ones. I appreciate you and I'm glad to be your dad.

Dan the man, Dan will be officiant to our wedding, I'm excited to have him.  Dan and I go way back, sharing many fun memories through the years.  A great and trusting friend for many years.  I'm glad to have you help us with our special night.
