The night before I gave birth, I was already having pretty good contractions 😫

Thomas John Dykstra, born 11:38am, 6lbs 14 oz🦖 Got to the hospital about 5/6am was already 4cm if I lived closer they said they would have sent me home thank goodness that didn’t happen because everything from there went super fast water broke at about 10:30am I laboured in the shower for what felt like forever but less then an hour later I felt like I needed to push. The nurses were all like “no you probably just need to pee” so they made me try and pee but instead I started to push so finally they put me on the bed and checked me, full blown 10 cm and ready to push BUT they made me wait for the doctor and that felt like FOREVER. 8 minutes of pushing and a small cough later the little sucker came flying out (literally) I swear the nurses were like professional football players in another life or something🤣

Spent a few days in the hospital🥰

He had pretty bad jaundice so they were testing him everyday for the first week of his life🥺

They even gave me a uv blanket to help😭
