Our Story
As with many modern love stories - Hamish and Sam met online. Hamish bravely promised to save Sam's plants unaware that her dad was not only a seasoned gardener, but would also open a garden shop in the coming years.
Sam and Hamish met right before the second lock down in 2021, the perfect storm for spending lots of time together. Over the coming months they cooked at home and were each others 'bubble person', seeing each other almost every day and enjoying many sunset walks at dusk.
Who made the first move? How?
Hamish had to make the first move, and later Sam confessed she would never have done so. Lucky things went the way they did or we may not be here today!
Who's going to take out the trash?
Hamish is the designated "trashman"
What was your most memorable date?
Our most memorable date is the same one on which Hamish proposed and Sam said yes! We were at "Central" in Peru, the No.1 restaurant in the world. The food was amazing and the ending even better!
What's your favorite activity together?
We are dog patting fanatics, coffee enthusiasts, and also love to dance (Hamish is getting better).
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Still working on it!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
The South America trip was amazing! We got engaged, saw Macchu Piccu, Rainbow Mountain in Peru, and the San Pedro de Atacamas desert in Chile. The altitude sickness was not the best, but the trip was life changing to say the least!

A life goal of ours
Our life goal is to continue to make the right decisions for each other while we do as many things and see as many places together. We're still working through what that looks like, but know we're in it together forever!

We take pride in
Our home, between Sam's meticulous up keep and Hamish's ability to shrink clutter we keep our home in "show room" condition, unless we're dog sitting. Then it's all about the doggo!
