The average temperature in October in Georgia is a high of 78° and a low of 58°. You should pack a light sweater for the evening!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
They will both be outdoors as long a weather cooperates. October in Georgia is quite dry, with an average of 3-8 days of rain during the month. Chances of a beautiful evening are high!
What should I do if I know I cannot make it?
You will be missed! We understand there will be people who will not be able to make it and that is totally okay. Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
How do I get to the venue?
We are currently looking into shuttle services from the hotel to the venue for the big day. We will give an update on this closer to the wedding month.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bridal party and the bride and grooms close families will be taking pictures nearby. The guests can enjoy cocktail hour leading up to dinner in the meantime.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We are looking into wedding blocks in Augusta, Georgia (which is where we plan on flying in to). We will update this once we have something set in stone and will also recommend other places as a different option.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
You can RSVP anytime from now until latest August 2024. You can RSVP here on our website for convenience!
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #KeepingUpWithTheKoutsis so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
Can we take pictures of the ceremony?
We are having an UNPLUGGED ceremony. We want you all to be fully present with us during our forever moment. We kindly ask that you put all devices away and we promise we will share ceremony pictures that our photographer has taken!
