Although Samantha and Matt went to different high schools, they were able to connect through marching band. Matt played the trumpet for Clearfield, while Samantha was on the dance team and played the flute/trombone for Bellefonte. Yes, they completed the basic “can I get your Snapchat” phase. Yes, that is how they kept in touch for many years to come.

At the peak of the pandemic (2020/2021) Matt and Samantha went out for their birthday (YES THEY SHARE A BIRTHDAY! SO COOL RIGHT). They got their birthday Starbucks and got some delicious food at Chen’s Mongolian Buffet (RIP). After spending the whole day together- they went back home to celebrate with their families.

As of February 12, 2022 - Matt and Samantha were dating. Four months into their relationship they were already talking about their future. Throughout their dating journey they spent almost every weekend together, they have spent every holiday and every birthday together. Matt and Samantha made the most of every moment together from vacations, to hiking trips, to hunting, and to church; life is always full of adventures.
