Jacob and Sami’s story began on Jacob’s 25th birthday, the day they first met. Sami thought she was attending her cousin Hally’s 21st birthday party at her family’s ranch. However, shortly after arriving, she realized it was also someone else’s birthday. Curious, she asked her close friends Parker and Evie, “Wait, whose birthday is it?” They excitedly introduced her to Jacob. This is the very place where their reception will be held.

From that moment on, Jacob and Sami spent as much time together as possible. Jacob lived in Tulare, while Sami lived in Pismo Beach. Jacob frequently visited Pismo, and Sami would drive back to the valley when Jacob worked weekends.

During the week of the 4th of July, Jacob spent every minute of his time off at the beach with Sami. On July 8th, Jacob asked Sami to be his girlfriend, and later that night, he told her he loved her for the first time. If you ask either of them, they would say they loved each other long before that night, but hadn’t yet said the words.

Jacob and Sami connected as though they had known each other their whole lives. They have learned from and grown with each other, complementing one another in every aspect of life. They are the true definition of “when you know, you know.”

Throughout their relationship, they’ve created countless memories—from traveling together to building a home and welcoming their beloved pup, Molly. They’ve built a life in Tulare, with friends nearby and family close. Their love continues to grow.

On March 30th, Jacob got down on one knee and asked Sami to spend the rest of their lives together. He proposed at her family’s ranch, and a surprise engagement party awaited her at her parents’ home. The two celebrated with their closest friends and family, sharing laughter, tears of joy, and happiness. It was the perfect night.

Sami’s family ranch holds a special place in their hearts. It has been significant throughout their relationship, with many date nights and drives spent there. It’s where they met, got engaged, and will be married on April 26th, 2025.

The exact spot where Jacob and Sami will exchange their vows holds deep sentimental value. It’s the same place where Sami’s parents and brother celebrated their own weddings. This will mark the first Tynes wedding at Flynn Cattle Ranch.
