Our story begins at Wittenberg University in 2016 where we met at a social gathering hosted by mutual friends. Reed told jokes that weren't funny but Sam laughed anyways and there was an immediate and deep connection that was unfamiliar to either of us. For the next several months there were many stolen glances and even midnight walks around campus where we'd talk about nothing.

However, for one reason or another the timing for us wasn't quite right and we remained close friends for the majority of our time at Wittenberg. Finally, just as time seemed to be running out for us, we decided to go on an official date during the last week of college. Reed was charming as always, and Sam was beautiful and witty and we soon began dating.

Despite the challenges of a long distance relationship, a master's program, full time jobs, and a pandemic, our relationship only strengthened each day. Before long, Reed was sure that they were meant to be and began planning his proposal. So, with help from friends and family, on a sail boat on the coast shores of the Florida Keys, Samantha Danielle Fraga made Reed Austin Gibson the happiest man alive and agreed to marry him!
