Our Wedding

Our very first day of being together was 3/13/14. We were ‘high school sweethearts’ and have been inseparable ever since. The memories that we share in those early years, are some of my most treasured. Fast forward to this year, the weekend after our 10th dating anniversary, Logan planned a surprise trip to a treehouse- that would result in him proposing that night (3/16/24). If you know us, experiences that involve rural settings in nature are our favorite (camping, treehouses, cabins, etc.) so it was literally perfect. It was such a whirlwind of emotions that entire day, as he planned the whole thing on his own to celebrate us. It was extremely bittersweet that, for the night, we just cherished the moment together but I will never forget the next morning when Logan eagerly called family and friends to say “Sam and I are engaged”. I will never forget hearing their reactions and just seeing the joy on his face. We then spent that full day driving around together, surprising more of our family and friends in person with the news. This whole experience is something I’ve always dreamt of and has created treasured memories that will last a lifetime. What is special to us moving forward, to hold these milestones at a higher sentimental value, is that we will be married within the same year of being engaged- our decade together. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with the ones who mean the most to us.

Katelyn has been my best friend for a few years now! Her and I are alike in so many ways from our love for animals, style, wine, and so much more. We often get mistaken for being sisters! Wouldn’t trade our friendship for the world. When we are together it is always a fun time- it also helps our guys are the best of friends, too!

Meghan is Logan’s sister and has acted as  such for me since Logan and I started dating. She was so welcoming, kind and has been someone I can always vent to! She granted us the blessing of being a bestie/ uncle several months ago; Emmy is one of the flower girls!

Growing up, we had the best childhood together. We lived close so seeing each other and playing just about everyday was a must. Becca is my cousin, from on my dad’s side, but was my first best friend and the sister I never had. I would do it all over again for all the great memories we share!

Jacki and I have been such great friends for several years now. I feel we’ve both seen, and experienced some, big milestones in each others’ lives. She is a true friend and is so fun to be around!

Karlee and I have been such great friends for several years now! Karlee and I both share a love for our animals, flowers, planning friend trips with our guys, making our houses pretty and so much more. She is so fun to be around it also helps our guys are the best of friends, too!

Lorraine has been in my family for just about as long as Logan and I have been together!  She is someone I can always count on and vent to without judgement; she has always been there for me. She blessed me with the “bestie” title with Kayleigh, Natalie and Larry (Bud) and I am forever grateful for our bond.

Nicole is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet! She lights up the room and is always welcoming to everyone. I love looking at photo albums to see our experiences together, as most were from when we were too young to remember, but I cherish those moments nonetheless. Nicole is my cousin, from on my mom’s side.

Lauren is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! She is always kind and welcoming- her and I always get told we look like alike! Similarly to Nicole, as they are sisters, I love looking at photo albums to see our experiences together from play dates and other family events. Lauren is my cousin, from on my mom’s side.

Kayleigh has been in my life since she was three years old. I met Kay for the first time the same year Logan and I started dating. Right away, my heart opened for Kay and I did whatever I could to watch her, just like an aunt would. She gave me the best title in the world of being a bestie. I wouldn’t trade our memories for the world. Her siblings (my other niece and nephew) Natalie and Larry (Bud) are in the wedding too, as a flower girl and ring bearer. 

Kayleigh 

Hayden is one of the sweetest little girls you’d ever get the pleasure of knowing! She has a creative side that I relate to and is always up to showing me her latest creation;  whether it be bracelet making, crayon melting, a drawing and more. She is Logan’s cousin and she, and her brother Blake, have always made get-togethers so fun for us. They are always the first to greet us with the biggest smiles and hugs! Can’t wait to have her be a part of our big day.

Hayden 

Natalie is Lorraine’s daughter, alongside Kayleigh (and Larry- my nephew). Natty is so very special in my life as I got to witness, and be a part of, many milestones from her being born until now. She was the first baby in the family- the first I got to babysit at just days old- and many times after- and watch Logan hold. She is our niece on the Greathouse side. I will forever be grateful to be her “Bestie”.

Emerson is the daughter of Meghan, who is Logan’s sister. Emmy is our first niece from the Pearce side of the family. She was selected to be a flower girl alongside Natalie. Emmy lights up any room she is in with her contagious smile and big, blue eyes. Seeing Uncle Logan with her is the cutest thing ever. We cannot wait to have her be a part of our special day; it will be the most sentimental!

Wedding Venue: The ceremony and reception will be taking place in the same area being the barn at Tall Oaks. The cocktail hour in-between will be hosted on the heated patio!

FYI:  Wedding checklist 

- RSVP by mailing slip back in envelope; on the slip you must initial food preferences as it is made on site. Also, verify number of guest for saved seats.  -We will be doing a speed- dollar dance/ dollar shot to dance with the bride or groom!  -Cocktail hour is hosted on a heated, covered patio.  - Sparkler “mock” exit at 9 pm for picture ops with most guests. Dancing to continue until 10:50. -We kindly ask guests to depart at 10:50 to allow time for a private last dance!   -Only kids 12 and under get a kids menu option*
