Garden Formal - We hope you will wear suits and ties, and gowns and elegant dresses! We encourage colorful outfits and floral motifs! See photo below for inspiration. The weather may be warm, so please dress in a way that you will be comfortable and express your personal style!

Dressy casual attire - Just what you would wear to a nice restaurant! Please no jeans. We expect it to be a warm August evening.

The average high for The Plains, VA in August is 85 degrees during the day and around 63 degrees at night. It may be quite warm during the day, so please check the weather when packing! The ceremony will be outside around 5:30pm, so we hope it will be around 75 degrees, and sundown will be just before 8pm. The reception will begin at 8pm and will be under a tent on grass.

- Shuttles - We will have shuttles from each hotel to and from the wedding. We hope to be able to provide shuttles to and from each airbnb as well, please reach out to us if you are staying in an airbnb (or anywhere other than the hotels) and you would like a shuttle, we will try to coordinate one for you. NOTE: Shuttles will begin leaving around 9:30pm for those who want to retire early, and will be continuously running until midnight. - Parking - We will have space for parking on site on the day of the wedding. - Rideshare/Uber - Rideshare in this area is very limited and unreliable, we do not recommend planning to use rideshare for your transport to and from the wedding.
