As the story goes, we started out as friends. We first met placed next to each other at game night and thought nothing much of it other than meeting someone new. We later learned that we both served as youth leaders and from there, a friendship sparked by sharing laughs over corny humor and inside jokes. Through endless laughs in person to endless text messages over the phone, it always felt like we were together. Our first date lasted all night and the minutes truly felt like seconds. It sounds like a fairytale but now the story does not have to end. Through times of growth and transition, God has remained at the center of our relationship and personal lives. He has worked in us through each of our ministries and has used both of us to build each other up in shared and separate seasons. His goodness towards us has prepared us to be the Husband and Wife He created us to be for each other.
