Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place outside. In the event of severe rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors to an onsite location.
How do I get to and from the venue?
The ceremony and reception are at the same location, as is the Homewood Suites.
Are children allowed at the wedding?
The wedding is 21 and over.
What do the elderly or disabled need to know?
The ceremony and receptions are both on the ground level with no staircases. If you are staying at the Homewood Suites, there are elevators available for use.
Where do I park?
There is a free parking lot available to use onsite.
Can I take pictures on my phone?
Yes, you can take photos! Please refrain from blocking the aisle with your phone.
What is the weather typically like this time of year?
It is typically in the 60s in the capital district during the springtime.
What is the attire for guests?
Semi-formal attire is recommended—think cocktail dresses for women and suit or blazer with dress pants for men. Since the wedding is in Schenectady in late May, include a light layer for cool evenings. Bridesmaids will be wearing gold; no black-tie required.
