Let us tell you a story about love's patience. Sam and Taylor grew up just 60 miles apart from one another. Sam is the youngest of four and Taylor is the oldest of nine. Both went to high schools that competed against each other often in sports, yet they never managed to remember seeing the other play in any games they attended.

Fast forward 7 years, both of them having their college years behind them and getting their feet under themselves professionally, they enter the online dating pool with an app called Hinge. They say it's the app that was meant to be deleted and in this case, they were right. After 26 years of being so close, Taylor swiped right and they were off to the races. Love had waited long enough!

Their first date was a casual night out at Blackstone Social. After a couple of drinks, it was time to part ways, but more dates were sure to follow. In just a couple of short months and a few trips back and forth to Lincoln and Omaha, Taylor found the courage to ask Sam to be his girlfriend at the end of January 2019.

They began traveling together shortly after with a trip to Cancun and within the next year would decide that they'd try out living together. When the pandemic hit in March 2020, Taylor packed his stuff and moved to Omaha. What better way to celebrate moving in together than to bring home a new puppy? You'd probably tell them to not add too much to their lives at one time, but they went forward with it anyway. In 2021, they purchased their first house together and gave the two pups, Oakley and Griffey, more space to run in West Omaha. They're excited about the new experiences ahead and look forward to celebrating their love with their closest family and friends!
