Just a few small timeline events that Kyle and I have expereinced. I was going to write these in third person, but we all know Kyle didn't design this website. (Get wrecked, Kyle!)

First Date

2/14/2020 - Our first date was at my apartment! I lived on my own at the time, and Kyle brought over Chinese food. He asked me what I wanted to eat from the resturant, and I told him Crab Rangoon. He thought "oh, okay we'll share finger food." NOPE. I just wanted rangoons, so when he came over, I grabbed the goons and sat on my corner of the couch chomping down. We watched YouTube videos on spooky ghost towns and abandoned buildings. He was also introduced to my senior cat, Murphy. They bonded very quickly. We were unaware at the time that it was Valentines Day.

Breakfast & Shooting

3/1/2020 - Kyle really loves guns and has 15+ years’ experience with handling firearms. He wanted to take me out shooting since I'd never been. I got us tickets to go to the Kiwanis ‘all you can eat’ pancake breakfast, and we went shooting after. I beat Kyle at 25-yard battleship with a rifle. Loser lol.&nbsp;

Quarantine 

Not even a month into our relationship, COVID happened, and Quarantine began. Kyle's job at the bank switched to working from home, but my job at a domestic violence shelter remained unaffected. Because of Kyle’s change in scenery, we were able to essentially spent all of quarantine together. No flashy, dressed up dates, just hang outs at my apartment - cooking, playing checkers, drinking and watching shows. We had a very domestic vibe from the beginning.

Grandma

05/29/2020 - I have a very close relationship with my grandmother. Very close. Nana always lived in the same home as me growing up and helped raise me. We were rarely ever apart. My parents decided to move to Florida in 2016 and Nana went with. I visited them on nana’s birthday every year.Nana called me one night and asked if I'd have the space if she wanted to move back to town. So, Nana moved back to Illinois and in with me. Best friends reunited! Roommates for life! Kyle gets two ladies for the price of one.

We bought a House!

11/17/2020 - After spending literally everyday together, the three realized that it was time to expand. I wanted to get Nana out of an apartment building, somewhere with a nice porch or garden. Kyle and I had the ‘move-in together' talk. We purchased our first home together shortly after.

12/1/2020 - The first new addition to our unit: a little senior cow we named Moo.

The Dog Step

04/03/2021 - During this time in our lives, we had two cat and Nana. Nana turned 97 this year, and even though our hands were a little full, there is always room for more pets. In other words, I wanted a dog. So, we got a dog. Meet Caliber, a gentle, all black german shepard.

10/28/2021 - Sadly, my 16 year old cat Murphy passed. So, to help with my grief, we adopted a young, fiesty boy cow and named him Beef. He's pretty beefy.

His name is Oreo, but we wanted to name him HAM.

1/12/2023 - We have room for just one more cat, right? I'd been tracking this cow online for a while, and he wasn't getting adopted. My Nana saw an ad for him in the paper, and it just felt like he NEEDED to be apart of our family. He's my cuddly pride and joy, and last edition to the family for now.

ENGAGED

08/13/2023 - We decided to go on a trip to Madision, WI. Nothing planned, no event - just some time away. My grandmother passed away on 06/27/2023. I never wanted to be more than a skip and jump away from her, so we didn't really travel or go out. If I wasn't working, I was with Nana. This was the first time that Kyle and I went on an overnight trip out of state together. Even though it was raining, Kyle promised we'd go through the local botanical garden before we left. I didn't know he had a ring in his pocket.

Things to Do

The Bride &amp; Groom are providing a shuttle service! A+ Party Bus will be picking up guests from The Chateau Hotel at 2:00pm and 2:40pm. A+ Party Bus will also transport guests back to the hotel from the Davis Lodge at 8:30pm, 9:30pm, 10:30pm and last shuttle out at 11:30pm. The shuttle will NOT take you anywhere else in town. Please be kind and respectful. and more importantly, DRINK!

Arrive/Departure:Check in @ 3pm 10/18/2024. Early check-ins can/will be accommodated with a possible $20 dollar fee. (The ceremony starts at 3:30pm, but this was the best I could do. Reminder that the last shuttle that picks up from the hotel is 2:40pm. So if you plan to use the hotel to get ready, I'd request early check in at time of reservation.) Check out @ 12pm(Noon) 10/19/2024. Details:Call and ask for group block "Krippner Wedding".Rates are $99 plus tax/fees. Individuals are responsible for their own hotel cost/reservation. Our invitations suggested Earth Tones: This is what we mean. You definantly don't need to stick to this as it was just a suggestion. I know that sometimes figuring out what to wear or in what color can be hard, so I wanted to be able to provide a bit of assistance.&nbsp;

Children/Plus Ones

Because this event is next to a lake, where we are hosting an open bar, we want to limit the number of children in attendance. Only immediant family children (neices and nephews) have been giving permission to attend: otherwise, consider this a child-free event. In addition, please do not bring any uninvited guests to our wedding. We were specific on our RSVPs about Plus Ones. If you have questions or need to address attendance, please call Samantha/Kyle at the number listed on your RSVP cards.
