What is the dress code?
Cocktail/Formal attire is preferred please. Please refrain from wearing jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, or flip-flops/crocs. Out of respect for the bride, please also refrain from wearing white or any form it may come in (patterns, ivory, eggshell, etc.).
What is considered Cocktail/Formal attire?
For this time of the year in Indiana, we suggest men wear suits & ties or sport jackets & pants, and women wear dresses or dressy pants. Ladies, if you’re worried about how bad your feel are going to hurt from dancing in heels all night long, look no further! Passion Footwear offers interchangeable heels that can be paired with any convertible shoe so you can go from heels to flats in seconds! https://pashionfootwear.com/ Enter 'WGSIMPLYMETZTOBE' for 25% off!
Can I bring my kids?
With the exception of the wedding party, we’ve decided to have our wedding be an adult-only occasion. We adore your kids but thought you might like a night off! We hope this advance notice means you’re still able to share our big day!
Can I bring my partner/a plus one?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. While we’d love to celebrate our wedding with as many people as possible, we have accounted for a specific number of guests with our venue. If they are not included on the invitation, we ask that you do not bring them as your own guest. If you have any questions, please reach out!
What will the weather be like?
The ceremony & reception will take place indoors, but everyone knows how cold December in The Midwest can be! Keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and have your winter jacket ready.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
During the ceremony, we want you to be fully present during our special moment. We kindly ask that you please keep your devices on silent and put away…or else no cake! During the reception, we would love for you to take photos and upload them to https://weduploader.com/upload/0VDG2EfaTmcurRsN for free throughout the night so we’ve got something to look at the next day! We also encourage guests to post pictures on Social Media using our wedding hashtag #SimplyMetzToBe so we can see them, too!
What should I expect after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, family of the couple will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests will walk across the parking lot to the reception hall where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 7:00pm, with dancing to follow.
Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?
