Our love story begins in Manhattan of January, 2020. Sam went to Maiden Lane in the East Village to meet up with friends who she and Nick had in common. After what was apparently months in the making, those mutual friends were finally able to set Nick and Sam up. Flirtatious banter was exchanged for weeks and then things naturally escalated during quarantine.

Flash forward a year and a half later after surviving sharing a studio during the pandemic, traveling to some of the most random locations including Alaska and South Dakota, and adding a fur-baby to our family. Over Memorial Day Weekend 2021, Nick popped the question in 45 degree weather in the pouring rain at Maudslay State Park and Sam said 'yes'! We could not be more excited for this next chapter to begin!
