Are kids invited?
While the bride and groom love and adore your children we have chosen to keep our ceremony and reception adults only with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night, and we really appreciate you making arrangements in order to celebrate with us!
How do I RSVP?
You can click the rsvp button next to your name at anytime or when you are done exploring! We will also be sending paper rsvp if you prefer to send those by mail!
What happens if we don’t RSVP?
If you do not rsvp by October 1,2024 , you will be marked as “not attending”. We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP’s.(This will mean you are not allowed to show up on our special day, there will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to a limited budget, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation, your invite will be made out to you and your guest if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding! Your rsvp will also state how many seats we have reserved in your honor!
What is the dress code?
We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies feel free to wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentleman slacks and a button down would look great! Please no jeans, sneakers, and of course no wearing white!
Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?
We kindly ask that you avoid any colors traditionally reserved for the bride; whites, creams, or ivories.
What happens if I am running late?
If you are not seated by the time the ceremony starts you will not be seated until it is over and the reception begins!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them! After the ceremony please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!
Can we post pictures?
The bride and groom kindly asks that you refrain from posting pictures of them until they have done so, but we can’t wait to see the pictures you get so send them to us as you’d like!
Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Yes, as long as weather cooperates we are getting married outdoors with a reception following right inside!
Will there be a bar?
Yes, there will be a cash bar! We do ask that you be patient and respect our bartenders!
Where should we stay?
We will have a block of rooms reserved at Wyndham in Moline John Deere Commons feel free to call and reserve room in that block so you are right next door and have no worries for the night!
