Sammy and AJ met on Lake Minnetonka, where Sammy always said she would find her person. We spent time as friends in the beginning, seeing each other upon happenstance in Vegas when traveling with different friend groups and at concerts around Minneapolis. After a time we began dating and really enjoyed spending time together traveling, at the gym, working from home, and having game nights with friends.

As we grew closer, we began to spend more time with our families, melding our lives in such a positive manner. We've come to realize that we have very similar values and life goals, which isn't surprising once our parents met. We could have left our dads on their own date.

We moved to Plymouth together in July of 2022 and added a new member of the family in March of 2023, Luna! We thought raising a puppy together would be extremely challenging. but we have found that it has only brought us even closer.

Sammy's happy place is out on the water, enjoying boat days with friends and family, thus on June 18th, 2023, AJ planned a surprise engagement day on the lake with our siblings. After some words of affirmation, tears, and lots of pictures, our remaining family members met us to celebrate.

We've both lived many life experiences separately and together, and are ecstatic to begin building memories as a married couple on the adventure of life!
