It all started back in December 2020, when Nathan recently moved from Atlanta to Tempe to start a new job and Samantha was visiting friends and family in Scottsdale from Alabama. When Samantha was out at brunch with a few of her friends, they insisted she download Hinge so that she can find a guy and move to Phoenix. Little did Samantha and her friends know that day that they would all swipe right on her future husband.

After two dates, one at Hop Social down in Chandler (still one of their fav spots) and the second at Nathan's apartment where he made her “marry me chicken” (Samantha was happy she found a man who can cook!) they decided to keep talking and see where this relationship could go. Samantha was living in Alabama and was graduating with her Masters that August. With many trips in between to see each other, they were both happy and ready for Samantha to move to Phoenix in August of 2021.

Fast forward to July 15th 2023, Nathan and Samantha were in Chicago for a work trip. On that day, Nathan had to work while Samantha was out with her friends touring (and drinking) through the city. Nathan was able to meet her out for a drink quickly with her and her friends until they had to get back to the hotel for a “reservation”. When they got back to the hotel, Nathan started nervously and quickly drinking some wine and said to get to this reservation we had to sign waivers… Samantha knew something was up.. and literally her and Nathan went up and up. He proposed at the Trump Tower in Chicago on the 92nd floor. Very few people have ever been up to their roof top 92 floors high. It was an amazing day and night!

Which brings us to October 25th 2024, the day that will forever be special to Samantha and Nathan, their wedding day!
