To everyone, and no ones surprise, we met at earls when we were just little. Taylors nickname was Smiles because he was always smiling and somehow, never talking. After a couple years of exchanging smiles, talking at earls parties and nights out at the bar later.. Taylor asked Sam to go on a walk, they spent a few hours walking around, and then sat in Tim Hortons for a few hours more. For a few weeks no one knew they had been talking and a secret romance began. Meeting in the back for dinner in the staff room and staying till close to meet up after work, it was very romantic.. Once the secret was out it was very cute and flirty for everyone to see.. June 8th 2016, Taylor worked up the courage and asked Sam to be his girlfriend by playing a card game, she chose the wrong card.. But a card was thrust into her hands- will you be my girlfriend. Flash forward a couple months, Taylor left for Hinton to start his Powerline dream.. After a year of long distance, Sam followed to Edmonton and they have been living together ever since. From earls, to rentals, to now house renos, life has been BUSY. On October 6th 2023, Taylor finally popped the question, during a set up surprise photo shoot, Sam yelled NOOO and somehow still got a ring. They currently share two dogs, Bear and Fezco, and are renovating their house into a home on an acreage outside of Edmonton. Hope you learned something fun about us.
