Believe it or not, 13.6% of people who meet on dating apps actually get married.&nbsp; Yep, that is right, Mike and Sami met on Tinder.&nbsp; It was love at first swipe!!!&nbsp; After their instant match, the two spoke over text and quickly planned their first date!&nbsp; Set for a Wednesday in August, Mike met Sami in&nbsp;Rittenhouse Square and the two walked to Tria for dinner.&nbsp; After three hours of eating, drinking, and endless laughter,&nbsp;the two called it a night and went their separate ways.&nbsp; From that point on, the two were ready to see where the next step would take them!

How They Met

The families had planned a quick getaway together up to Maine, as Sami and Mike had never been, and the lure of fresh lobster was too much to handle.&nbsp; Mike and Sami had been wanting to explore Maine since they started dating, so this was a great opportunity to get the families together and enjoy the area.&nbsp; Finally, the plans were set for September 22, the day after Sami's birthday!&nbsp; The two of them&nbsp;left for Maine around 4:30AM that Friday morning with Layla in the backseat!&nbsp; With a 6 hour ride ahead of them Sami slept as Mike willfully volunteered to drive the distance!&nbsp; As they&nbsp;were getting closer to their&nbsp;destination, Mike pulled off on&nbsp;to a different exit,&nbsp;York,&nbsp;ME.&nbsp; Without question, Sami just went with it, as she's always up for a new adventure!&nbsp; As they were driving&nbsp;through the beautiful roads of York they&nbsp;pass by fields of rolling hills and beautiful farm homes.&nbsp; It was absolutely breathtaking! You could tell at this point Mike was beginning to get nervous because he was having a difficult&nbsp;time finding his destination.&nbsp; But then, he took a deep breath, and there it was, a&nbsp;field of sunflowers.&nbsp; For those of you who know Sami, it was a dream come true for her.&nbsp; She immediately starting bawling her eyes out&nbsp;(not because she knew he was proposing, but because she was SO excited to see the sunflowers!).&nbsp; She hopped out of the car, grabbed Layla, and made her way into the field with the largest smile on her face!&nbsp; Mike forgot his phone and ran back to grab it, and came back with a picnic basket in tow.&nbsp; As you could imagine, more tears came streaming down Sami's face!&nbsp; Mike told Sami to set up the blanket as he set up the GoPro to take pictures of this unforgettable scene.&nbsp; As Mike ran back for pictures, he reached into the picnic basket, pulled out the ring, got down on one knee and asked Sami to marry him!&nbsp; She obviously said yes, and&nbsp;the three of them were so excited to begin this new chapter together (Layla was definitely excited)!&nbsp; After the excitement, they drove another 30 minutes to meet up with their parents,&nbsp;Alex, and Katie to celebrate the rest of the weekend!&nbsp; Such an unforgettable vacation for everyone!

Mawgie and Sami have been best friends since 2nd grade!&nbsp; They met at a mutual friends slumber party and have been inseparable every since!&nbsp; Together they excelled in their school's talent shows and still to this day their dance moves are unstoppable.&nbsp; Morgan has been by Sami's side through everything and always knows when a good time and/or laugh is needed.&nbsp; That is why there was no question as to who would stand by Sami as she marries Mike.

Morgan

Cory and Wein have been best buddies&nbsp;since elementary school. From the classroom, to the driveway basketball court (where Winer dominates), to his basement set upon an ancient Native American burial ground...&nbsp;these two have been practically inseparable since day one. As the honorary 5th Trobman son, it is an honor to have his&nbsp;brother, Cory, by Wein's&nbsp;side while marrying Samantha. Uda boy.&nbsp;

Cory

Prior to meeting Sami's family, she told Mike, "It's not my father you need to worry about, it's my brother Alex. He once roughed my dad up and locked him in the closet! He's the tough one who's acceptance you must earn to gain entry into the family circle." Mike thought this was weird, but nonetheless, recognized the importance of winning this Alex guy&nbsp;over. Before meeting Alex and his then girlfriend (and now wife) Kate for dinner, Sami and Mike went to a local bar, Mike pounded a few shots of tequila, hiked up his big boy pants, and practiced a few firm handshakes with the barkeep. Alex, while imposing in stature, actually turned out to be one heck of a guy! Alex and Mike share a love for sports (even&nbsp;playing softball together), cooking delicious foods, and fine craftsmanship (actually, Alex is the craftsman&nbsp;and Mike is just envious of his talents).&nbsp;

Mike feels blessed to join such an amazing family, and lucky to have a guy like Alex as a brother and friend.&nbsp;

Alex

Sami is the luckiest to be able to call Katie a sister.&nbsp; &nbsp;She always had the best advice when Sami and Mike first started dating and now she has been the best resource with wedding planning.&nbsp; 3 years ago Sami was honored to stand by Katie's side as she married her brother, Alex, and now&nbsp;&nbsp;she is happy that Katie will do the same for her!

Katie

If you don't know Jordan today, we guarantee you will know him within 5 minutes of the wedding reception. Jordo is the consummate life of the party, and living life to the fullest is the foundation upon which he and Wingman have built their relationship. The Jordo/Wingman duo have countless stories together, but it's their earliest encounter that set their friendship in the trajectory that lead to them being best friends to this day.

The Katz and Winer families were on mutual vacations in Mexico, and happened to be visiting Cozumel on the same day. As such was the case, they decided to meet at a snorkel resort on the island and spend the day together. Jord and Wing are both huge agua enthusiasts,&nbsp;&nbsp;and spent the entire day in the water snorkeling, and obviously&nbsp;working up an appetite. The two grabbed some chips and tacos as the nearby food stand, recounting the fish they saw and discussing plans for the upcoming school year. When it came time to get back to the snorkeling, Wing had an idea for a legendary prank to play on unsuspecting snorkelers nearby. The two would bring handfuls of tortilla chips back into&nbsp;the water with them, and throw them at ladies who were snorkeling, ultimately creating a feeding frenzy that would scare them from the water.&nbsp;

Needless to say... the plan went off without a hitch. Jord and Mike were lobbing soggy chips into these ladies' bikinis, fish were jumping out of the water and flopping onto the innocent women, and the two were hysterically laughing as the ladies screamed in horror. In the fit of hysteria, Mike swallowed a mouthful of water... and then it happened. The lunch they just ate came back up, and the two found themselves surrounded by tortilla chips and half-digested tacos! With bystanders watching and laughing from the beach, and the feeding frenzy now upon them,&nbsp;the two decided it was a great opportunity to check out some tropical fish, and the snorkeling resumed.&nbsp;It was this experience&nbsp;and the countless stories over the years that have kept the two inseparable over the years, and Mike looks forward to adding his wedding&nbsp;&nbsp;day with Jordo by his side to the collection. Chuda!

Jordan

Val and Sami met in the hallway&nbsp;of&nbsp;Voorhees Middle School due to a mutual friend. &nbsp;It did not take&nbsp;much to for these two to&nbsp;become close! All through middle school the two were in every class together and spent every free second outside of class together! &nbsp;Although they may not be together as frequent due to distance, their friendship has not changed!&nbsp; Val was always the one to make sure no matter how far apart friends were plans were made and a good time was had!&nbsp; I am lucky enough to know that years later I still have her by my side!

Former roomies, travel bros, food crushers, dog dads... these two have been through it all together. Although Cheese had&nbsp;never been able to beat Wein in FIFA while the two lived together, and the rivalry had at times threatened their relationship, the two were able to overcome the adversity and continue living together, harmoniously. Over the years, the two have been so close that they have oft been accused of being in a manlationship. Mike says that while he understands said accusations, he&nbsp;would be happier seeing Stan with a woman who completes him. It would also put an end to Mike's mother asking him every week whether Stan has found a girlfriend... Ladies???

Stan

Life in Philly&nbsp;would not have been the same for Sami without Amanda.&nbsp; They would adventure around town together and definitely get into trouble.&nbsp; When Sami and Mike were on their first date, by coincidence Amanda&nbsp;was at the same restaurant.&nbsp; When Amanda was finished her meal, like a good friend would, she creepily walked by to check and make sure Mike was a good choice.&nbsp; Now that's a good friend!&nbsp; Mike and Sami loved having Amanda over to watch the Eagles on Sundays and other family outings! &nbsp;Being apart of their&nbsp;wedding is an occasion they&nbsp;wouldn’t want Amanda to miss!&nbsp;

Amanda

The groom adopted Layla back in 2011 and saved her from the wild streets of Delaware. Since then, Layla has been a best friend to Mike. When Sami and Mike first met, Layla had a hard time allowing her dad to love another woman. &nbsp;After some time, treats, and lots of snuggles,&nbsp;Layla has accepted Sami into the family. &nbsp;They do not like to tell Mike this, but sometimes Layla prefers her snuggles with a Sami! &nbsp;The wedding&nbsp;would not be the same without Layla there, so the couple is honored that she agreed to be apart of the special day!

Layla

Shazzlerazzleroo! Even though Wein stole Shazzle's girlfriend before the two had ever met, Kevin, with a heart of gold, was able to forgive&nbsp;and the two have become lifelong friends. In the early years, Mr. Shazzle drafted Mike each year on his basketball team, and I guess you can say that Mike and Kev were the original "Splash Brothers"...&nbsp;until Mike fractured his back&nbsp;and then amputated his finger, cutting his basketball season short (pun intended). Kevin's grandfather, Mr. Martin, single-handedly got me through high school math, and I will never forget the time I spent with the Schillack/Martin family during and after my tutoring sessions.&nbsp;Today, Kevin and Mike&nbsp;enjoy golfing, fishing, and drinking fine whiskys together. Kevin has an infectious smile, and is the most positive person you will ever meet in your life. Yoooo, Shazz!

Kevin

Adam and Michael met at a Halloween party; Adam dressed as Wilson from Home Improvement, while Michael was dressed as Prince / Austin Powers (it was a terrible costume). If you know Adam, then you know that you typically hear his laugh before you actually see him. The moment Michael heard the laugh, he knew he had to find who it belonged to, and make that person his friend.&nbsp;

The two hit it off from the start, quickly became best of friends, and then even became&nbsp;co-workers. Adam's dog Sugar and Layla are inseparable, just like Michael and Adam, and the whole gang enjoy Facetiming on weekend mornings. Michael couldn't imagine a wedding without&nbsp;Adam by his side, and he can't wait to share Adam's laugh with the wedding guests.

Adam

Wein and Shull met while playing on the Big Green Team back in the early elementary school days. When the two weren't wreaking havoc on the soccer field, they were probably out in the neighborhood (The Valley) causing some kind of trouble. Actually, they were probably just playing street hockey, manhunt, or SEGA Genesis... they weren't really trouble makers.

Wein's favorite Shull-story took place on a trip to Disney with the Shull family. It was a rainy day, and the two figured they would kill a couple hours and go see Anchorman in theaters. Shull was carrying their large popcorn bucket up the stairs to be seated, missed a step, flung the popcorn in the air, and fell up the steps. After receiving a standing ovation after declaring he was okay, Shull whispered in Mike's ear that he was hurting. The two went into the bathroom and looked in horror at Shull's big toe which had split open. Normally, this would have destroyed any vacation, but this wasn't any vacation, this was a Disney vacation. As a result of the split toe and multiple stitches, Shull received a wheelchair, and if you know anything about Disney, having a wheelchair is like a Golden Ticket. Instead of waiting in lines, they&nbsp;got to Fast Pass each ride, and never waited in another line for the remainder of the trip. Huge Win.



Wein and Shull&nbsp;have shared a brother-like bond over the years, and Wein couldn't be more proud to call someone his groomsbrother.&nbsp;
