Samantha and Anthony met in 2018 while they were both in college. Anthony attended Davenport University, but lived in East Lansing due to his classes being virtual. Samantha attended Michigan State University and therefore, also lived in East Lansing. They grew up in neighboring cities and had mutual friends that brought them together.

After a few years of being best friends, Samantha and Anthony started dating in early 2021. Together they enjoy being active, traveling, eating delicious food, and spending time with family and friends.

In February of 2024, Samantha and Anthony traveled to Hawaii with Anthony's family, for his brother Jameson's senior spring break. Anthony proposed in Hawaii at sunset on a beach in Maui.
