We will be married at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Friday, October 10, 2025 in a small, secular ceremony.
Why have both an officiant and witnesses?
Pennsylvania offers traditional or self-uniting licenses. While Sam's brother-in-law, Zach, will be presiding over the ceremony, both of our older siblings, Alex & Brian, will be our witnesses and sign our marriage certificate. Plus, our younger siblings, Booka & Jimmy, will present the rings.
What's happening after the ceremony?
After it's officially official, we'll head to The Tap Room at the Omni William Penn hotel--just 2 blocks away--for celebratory drinks.
How can we get and from the ceremony?
A shuttle service will be available. Details to come. Parking garages and street parking available nearby.
Note: All attendees will be required to pass through security.
Thrill rides & games & funnel cake, oh my!
The traditions & formalities of wedding receptions aren't our idea of fun, so we're taking the party to Kennywood Amusement Park on Friday night!
Disclaimer: It will be Phantom Fall Fest (not ideal, but still fun lol)
