Sam and Pat met in July 2021 on a double date (which Pat was reluctant to attend, and even pretended that he had to work late to try and get out of it...Sam made a bet with her friends that the two of them were never going to meet). Thankfully, Andy was successful in dragging Pat out, and he waltzed into The Social in West Chester without warning. The two hit it off during dinner and drinks, and Pat invited Sam to a pool party the next day. Sam and Pat spent the remainder of the summer hanging out and going on dates, with Pat doing whatever he could to impress Sam (including cooking a scallop risotto to die for and a surprise night of making homemade raviolis —Sam's favorite pasta).

Fast forward to June 2024, and Pat proposed at Rainbow Row during a vacation to Charleston, SC. With the help of Sam's best friend, Becca, a photographer was booked to capture the special moment, which included lots of tears from a clueless Sam.
