Our Wedding

&nbsp;Our story begins like so many modern romances do: with a swipe and a little leap of faith. We met online in Florida shortly after Thomas moved down from Michigan and from the very beginning, it just felt different. Our conversations never felt forced, our time together was effortless, and before we knew it, we couldn’t wait to see where this connection would take us. For Thomas, there was one specific moment that stood out—a night out to a local bar. At the bar they were dancing and it hit him, Thomas knew he loved this woman so much. For Samantha, it happened the moment date nights turned into something she couldn’t stop looking forward to. Every time we went out together, her excitement grew, and it didn’t take long before she knew: she had fallen. From the start, we’ve always shared a love for adventure. Traveling and exploring new places became a huge part of our relationship—whether it was a short weekend trip or a plan to hike a challenging trail, we loved the discovery and excitement that came with being each other’s favorite travel partner. One trip that stands out was to Helen, Georgia. We climbed Mount Yonah together, soaked in the incredible views at the top, and felt like we could take on anything, as long as we had each other. After four amazing years in Florida filled with adventures and so many memories, life presented an incredible opportunity to take the next step, both personally and professionally. We found new job opportunities in Michigan that felt almost too good to be true, and suddenly, the timing was perfect. We packed our bags, said goodbye to the place that held so much of our love story, and embraced everything Michigan had to offer. And, well, because Thomas can be a bit of a romantic, Michigan became the setting for one of our greatest memories yet. While watching the northern lights dance across the Port Austin sky—stars twinkling brightly alongside a meteor shower—he got down on one knee and asked Samantha to spend the rest of her life with him. It was the easiest “yes” she’s ever said. Now, we couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter where the northern lights blessed our engagement and where we’ve chosen to say “I do.” For us, this isn’t just a celebration of our love; it’s a celebration of all the moments, adventures, and memories that brought us to this point. We can’t wait to keep traveling, laughing, and building a life full of love and new opportunities together. Thank you for being part of our story—we’re so lucky to have the best family and friends supporting us as we start this next beautiful chapter as husband and wife. Hampton Inn Saline

A shuttle service will be provided to the wedding venue. This service will be provided for guest staying at Hampton Inn Saline.-The shuttle will depart the hotel at 4:15 pm &amp; 4:30 pm. -The shuttle will pick up guest from venue at 10:30 pm &amp; 11:30 pm.

Hampton Inn Saline Shuttle Service 

The Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) will be the most convenient airport to fly into! The airport is 30 minutes from the Hampton Inn Saline Hotel and 30 minutes from the wedding venue.
