We are so excited to share this weekend with y'all! If you are wanting to explore on any of your down time, we have included some fun activities you can do around both Chattanooga and Maryville!
Lookout Mountains has beautiful hiking trails that offer scenic views of the surrounding landscape throughout your hike.
At the summit, you will find Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls( previously listed), and other geological formations.
Enjoy this 0.8-mile out-and-back trail near Maryville, Tennessee. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 24 min to complete. This is one of the first spots Sam and Dan visited when they moved to Tennessee. They regularly go on dates here and enjoy watching the sunset!
Cades Cove is a broad, verdant valley surrounded by mountains and is one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smokies. It offers some of the best opportunities for wildlife viewing in the park. An 11-mile, one-way loop road circles the cove, offering motorists/cars the opportunity to sightsee at a leisurely pace. Allow at least two to four hours to tour Cades Cove, longer if you walk some of the area's trails. This is where Sam and Dan took their engagement photos! Their favorite hike to do in the park is Abrams Falls!
Check out this 2.4-mile out-and-back trail near Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 7 min to complete. There is a beautiful waterfall at the end of this hike that is worth the walk!
Good Vibes is Sam and Dans favorite little breakfast place in the area. It backs up to the river for a scenic breakfast view! If you are looking for a local breakfast spot, this is the place!
Bruster's is one of Sam and Dans favorite ice cream spots in Maryville! They come here often for date night. All of the ice cream is homemade and they also offer dairy free options as well!
The Lost Sea Adventure is a hike down caves to an underground lake! Once you get down, you are able to take a boat ride and feed the fish. This is about 45 minutes away from Maryville, but well worth the drive! Sam and Dan have gone about 6 times! If you ask Dan he will tell you he'd go again (lol)!
