October 30, 2019 at the Clayshier Castle. Sam had finally arrived and was finishing getting ready to walk down the aisle as a bridesmaid at another wedding. She was struggling to get the hair coraperate, Rachel took that moment to step in and asked if she needed help. She accepted the help and then asked Rachel to take a picture of her. That was the first time Sam and Rachel met.

It wouldn't be until almost a year later on October 22, 2020 at Rachel's sister's halloween party that they would see or talk to each other again. When Rachel walked in to the house, Sam took that opportunity to announce that that was her new girlfriend that had just walked in the door. Rachel replied with "Well okay then". They were attached at the hip that night of the party but nothing yet was official.

One month later on June 11 2020 Sam walked into Rachel's sister's house with two bell peppers for the bearded dragons. Rachel had happened to spend the night prior and immediately was up and out of bed when she saw her. They spent the entire day together between shopping at walmart and babysitting a 4 year old that day.

Once they began dating it wasn't long before Rachel moved down to Spencer and was living with Sam. They spent weekends in Indy together and even took their first road trip to Gatlinburg in March 2021.

On July 23rd Rachel took Sam out to dinner at her favorite restaurant, Outback. After dinner Rachel gave her a small purple locked notebook and gave the the key on the necklace. The book was filled with memories of big things and even some of the smallest things they did together. She then asked the big question and without hesitation Sam said yes!

We cant wait to start our next chapter of our journey beginning on June 11, 2021. We hope to see you there to celebrate with us!
