Okkkkk so this is me, Paul-Michael, giving the account because Samantha doesn't tell it right.
I had just moved to Lancaster from Shippensburg and was not in a great place in life. I was living with my lovely cousin, Monica.
(Shout out to you cuz. Thank you for saving me in that moment!)
And I was working at the Juicy Crab trying to just work my butt off to get back on my feet. In comes Samantha.
We met on Tinder and we literally texted non stop from the moment we matched. Mind you this was during Covid and at the time I wasn't looking for a relationship at all but I was lonely and talking to Samantha made me feel better... stronger even. She has a way with words, as most of you know, and a way of making everyone around her feel accepted and loved.
Anyways, the first day we met in person was at Texas Roadhouse. I was in to eat with friends and she the manager on duty. I asked our server if she could provide me information about working there as a server because it was time to leave Juicy Crab. And lo and behold, here comes Samantha (in a mask, mind you, cause it's still Covid) with paperwork on how to fill out an application. I unfortunately did not recognize her (because of her mask) and I have not been able to live it down since!!
Her and I became best friends from there! After a few months of talking, I was introduced to the girls, and as someone that had no intention of being around kids anymore (I'm the eldest of seven and helped raise my younger siblings), I fell in love with them too!
Now Samantha and the girls are my home. My safe space. And I am so excited to marry into their family!
