Sammi has opted to do not just a traditional ring exchange, but she wants to add an old Celtic/Norse tradition of handfasting!

We ask that our colors be exclusive to our wedding party and parents. Colors to avoid are burgundy and black. Of course we also ask you to avoid wearing white. Any other color is fair game!!

Please come as comfortable as you can while bearing in mind you will be photographed. If you are most comfy in pjs, then by all means come party in your pjs!! If you have a renaissance themed outfit you want to wear, be our guest! our wedding is anything but traditional and we are here for whatever has you feeling your best!!

We are hosting the wedding at John's father's house. His yard is mostly grass with trees. Depending on the weather the ground may be soft so, personally, I would avoid shoes that might sink and stick.

Short answer, hell yeah!! Sammi loves a good hang out with her people and has made it a point to try and plan something for everyone. Don't want to dance? We will (weather permitting) have a fire going, cornhole, beerpong, and other such activities!!

Nope! After today we are all family! So sit anywhere that feels right! We will set aside seats for specific people during the ceremony and dinner, but other than that it's a free for all!

We are keeping things simple and have decided to just have a big pizza party!! There will be a few other things such as salad, chips, breadsticks, etc.
