Jason and Sam met through facebook of all places. They had multiple mutual friends and they worked at the same place at different times. Jason requested to be Sam's friend. She responded by messaging him asking if she knew him considering the aforementioned coinsedences. He replied that she didn't but he thought she was cute! They talked back and forth for a few days until they decided to meet at a bar. The rest is history!

How We Met

<p>After 4 years together and 2 years of living together, Jason decided to pop the question. It had been mentioned before that they knew they wanted to marry each other but Sam had no clue that he was going to propose to her a few days before her birthday! On&nbsp;August 25, 2019, Jason suggested that they take the dogs for a walk at the Tuckahoe Wildlife&nbsp;Preserve as Sam's plans for the beach had been cancelled that day.&nbsp;During their walk, Jason had suggested that they go up to the bird watching deck to get a better view of the sights. As Sam was standing on the bench, taking in the scenery, Jason asked if she wanted to marry him. She obviously said yes and that was easily the best day of her life to-date.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Jenny has been a rock in Sam’s life. Sam is grateful for yet another reminder of how it feels to have a reliable, inspiring, and wonderful friend as she stands next to Sam on her big day. Jason easily meshed into their friendship.&nbsp;As time goes on, the double dates with Jenny and Joe have left Sam and Jason feeling great about having happy, healthy relationships to witness and share experiences with.

Kristen has been Sam’s friend since grade school. They have literally gone through all the life stages and all the growing pains and yet they are still great friends. Kristen and Jason have comfortably fallen into a friendship full of snarky banter that entertains Sam constantly. Kristen's support of their life together has helped build their strong foundation.&nbsp;This wedding party would not be complete without Kristen.

Jason and Mike have been friends years before Jason met Sam. They all got incredibly close especially when they physical lived closer. Jason knows that he can rely on Mike.&nbsp;Jason can reciprocate reliability to Mike as well.

Wayne and Jason are brothers as you can tell by their looks. They are incredibly close and Jason couldn’t see himself getting married without Wayne.

Charlie is Jason and sams biggest cheerleader. He has said countless times how he loves them together. He’s easily one of the closest friends Jason has and rightly so. Jason and Sam need their cheerleader up there with them when they wed!

Chris and Kristina have been Sam and Jason’s couple dates for the last 5 years. Without them both involved in the wedding, something huge would be missing. Here’s to many years of double dates Chris!

Kristina was first Jason’s friend but the minute Sam and Kristina met, it was as if they had known each other forever. When choosing the girls for the bridal party, it was not even a question on having Kristina in it. She has been a chosen sister to Jason throughout their school years.&nbsp;They have a friendship that withstand the test of time. Sam is grateful for Jason to give her another sister as well.

Sam and Nicole are&nbsp;sisters through and through. How could Jason and Sam get married without her!? Sam and Nicole's&nbsp;adult lives have changed them&nbsp;into the women we are now. And although they haven't always liked each other, they&nbsp;will love each other forever and ever. Jason and Sam have been grateful to be made godparents to Nicoles beautiful daughter, Aubree. This has further&nbsp;fulfilled their&nbsp;relationship.

Q + A

For our guests’ safety and convenience, we will be providing transportation from the hotel to the wedding venue and back. The shuttle will pick guests up from the hotel to the venue at 2:15 pm. There will be a second trip to the venue for anyone running late or if there is overflow. Keeping in mind, the ceremony starts at 3:00 pm. After the wedding, there will be a shuttle to take us back to the hotel, starting at 8:45 pm. Again, there will be a second trip for stragglers (that’s Jason and I, we will be the stragglers).

We have blocked out rooms at the hotel for November 19th and 20th (wedding rate available until 10/19/21). However, if you plan to only stay on the 20th, that is also available. If you plan to just stay on the 20th and want to try and get your room before the wedding, you can call ahead to see if your room is available for early check-in. If it is not available, they can go through the check-in process with you and hold your bags. You will just have to go to the front desk to get your keys and bags after the wedding.
