If the weather is nice, stop by Charlotte Beach to do some exploring. This beach is a great way to see Lake Ontario and the Rochester harbor. Sam recommends stopping at Abbots, a local ice cream shop located right next to the park, then taking a stroll down the pier. After the walk, stop by to see the Dentzel Carousel, a staple in Rochester.

Mendon Ponds Park is a great option if you want to get some fresh air and see nature. Mendon Ponds has easy hiking trails, beautiful water views and is a great way to see the fall foliage. If you want to get out and stretch your legs this is a great option!

For those of you that are history buffs, the George Eastman House is a great way to step into Rochester’s history. George Eastman was the founder of the famous Kodak company and is known for modernizing photography. You can buy tickets on the website linked below to step into his house and learn all about his life. While you are there don't forget to grab a selfie!
