Adam and Samantha met one night in June of 2012 at a local watering hole in St. Joseph, MN- Sal's. Samantha was attending a wedding in the area with co-workers. Adam was hanging out with some college friends. The two were introduced by a mutual friend (thank you, ERIN!) at Sal's. A few nights later they met again at JoeTown Rocks and the rest is history. Adam enjoys teaching Samantha all about fishing, the outdoors, and taking her on new adventures. Samantha enjoys dancing with Adam, teaching him how to ice skate, and beating him in the only thing she can- rollerblade races.

The proposal took place on the morning of Christmas Eve of 2016. Samantha was awoken (too early for her) and Adam had to pry her out of her bed. He took her on a scavenger hunt which led them to a local lake in Avon, MN. There, Adam had a self-made ice rink set up and popped the question!!! Samantha was never happier to say yes!
