If it weren’t for the world shutting down during Covid-19, we’re not sure our paths would have ever crossed. In the midst of all the uncertainty, we both found ourselves working at Topgolf—a silver lining in a strange time.

We started out as friends, getting to know each other while working side by side. One day, during a casual happy hour with coworkers, Sammie found out that Mic was newly single. Naturally, she made the first move. What started as a few conversations turned into more time together, and before long, “just hanging out” turned into something real. In August of 2021, we made it official.

A year later, in the fall of 2022, we took the leap and moved in together—into a home we’ve been renovating ever since. (Yes, it’s still under construction!) But through every project, every mess, and every late-night paint decision, we learned how to live together, grow together, and love each other even more deeply.

In the fall of 2024, Mic was ready to take the next big step. He proposed to Sammie at a lighthouse in Salem, Massachusetts—a moment that was perfectly us.

Since the beginning, our life together has been full of adventure. We've traveled to eight countries, cheered at countless sporting events, and spent countless cozy nights snuggled up with our favorite furry sidekick, Archie.

We can’t wait to continue this adventure together—and we’re so excited to celebrate with you!
